We are looking for an energetic team member with a passion for product data management systems and the value they bring to the entire engineering workflow, from start to finish. The selected applicant will be part of the global administration team responsible for Intel’s Windchill environment. The Windchill Business Admin role requires experience with the Windchill user interface, Lifecycles, Object Initialization Rules, Roles, Workflows, Access Control Rules, Participant Administration, Object Type Definitions, Publishing, Markups, WT Part structures, CAD and Non-CAD data management, object attachment and relationships, Context Administration, etc., and some level of infrastructure, networking, operating systems, as well as a very thorough knowledge of managing PDM environments. This employee must be a self-motivated, goal-oriented, independent worker who is passionate about quality of output, and must have the ability to produce results with minimal supervision and guidance.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Windchill Responsibilities:
• Architecture of ground up Windchill environment
• Windchill user account management
• Context administration (Product, Library, Project, Program)

• Template creation and maintenance.

• Team administration

• Object Initialization Rules

• Life Cycles

• Workflows

• Permissions (Access Control Rules)

• Version control

• CAD and non-CAD documents and collateral creation

• Naming and numbering schemes

• Business process mapping to Windchill functionality
• Data migration from other systems to Windchill (Importing and Exporting)
• CAD data management using Creo, SolidWorks, NX, AutoCAD, others
• Windchill Workgroup Manager support and training
• Queue management
• Windchill License Management
• Purging and Archiving
• Policy Management
• Windchill Roles
• End user training and backup Administrator training.
• Performance monitoring and reporting (Dashboards)

Experience to fill responsibilities in the following areas would be a bonus:

• Windchill uptime, software updates, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery
• Apache, Tomcat, and Windchill Directory Services Uptime, software updates
• Oracle installation, maintenance, tuning
• SQL Server installation, maintenance, tuning
• Windchill Simple Change Framework (SCF)
• Windchill Performance Monitoring and Tuning
• Clustered Windchill environments
• Windows performance configurations/monitoring
• Windows performance configurations/monitoring
• Environment automation and custom code development/maintenance
• Network configuration, monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting.
• System cloning for backup, redundancy, and testing.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in. Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology or related field with 5+ years of experience in the following:

• Windchill front-end system administration
• Business Administration of production level Windchill systems
• Architecture of engineering workflows
• Examples of working with stakeholders to define PDM process.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong soft skills with a focus on customer service
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Supplier Management through PDM
• Non-Windchill PDM system administration
• Experience connecting non-Windchill systems to Windchill.
• Cloud hosted Windchill management
• Proven success of integrating teams of engineers into PDM
• Experience with BOM and Change Management in Windchill
• Connecting multiple systems

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $144,501.00-$217,311.00

• Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
