Business Advisory & Tax Firm Office Administrator $5,000 Signing Bonus

Profit & Wealth Tax Advisory is a local accounting, tax & Business Advisory firm in the Los Alamitos area and we need an Office Assistant to assist us with day to day operations. This is an awesome opportunity for a young professional interested in a career in business and continuous growth.

3. Great communicator who enjoys speaking with people through email/texts/phone calls. We are looking for someone that is more extroverted than introverted

6. Someone familiar with social media postings on Instagram/Facebook/etc

7. Must have reliable transportation

8. Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred but not required.

9. Prior CPA/Public Accounting Firm experience is highly preferred, but not required. We will train the right person.

10. Education Needed: High School Diploma.

Primary Daily Tasks/Roles:

1. Answering all incoming calls/text messages/emails & assisting with the onboarding of new clients. We don’t do any cold calling, so don’t worry about that. Existing & potential new clients call/text/email us all day long and we need you to help facilitate this

2. Keeping track of Leads (New Clientele)

3. Scheduling phone calls/zoom calls with new and existing clients

4. Collecting and organizing client tax/finance forms from the clients in their files so they are ready to be assigned to the next individual.

5. Sending agreements & invoices

6. Processing payments -- we do not do any collections, so don't worry about that. You just need to be able to use our merchant processing software to process payments.

7. Assist the Office Manager, Staff Accountants, and the Partners with daily additional tasks/internal projects as needed.

8. Preparing drafts of tax returns for client's review and sending the client's final copies of their returns.

9. Updating Internal Checklist for firm procedures

10. Mailing documents out and driving to Irvine location to pick up mail throughout the week

11. Preparation of Tax Compliance forms

Benefits:

1. Hourly pay of $25.

2. Health Insurance (Available upon start date).

3. Signing Bonus of $5,000 (Paid in 12 monthly installments).

4. Full time position (Office Hours of Monday through Friday from 9am - 5:30pm with a 30 minute lunch break)

There will be opportunities to acquire overtime from February– April 15th (Tax Season) and again from late-August through October 15th (Extension Season).
There will be a 90-day introductory period. At the end of the 90-day introductory period, we will evaluate your performance. We want to see that you are coming in ready to work on time, that you are doing your job to the best of your ability, showing that you can take initiative, and going the extra mile when it comes to the work that is assigned to you.
