Salary Range: $61,000-$92,500/yr

We are looking for a PCB Designer/Layout Technician with emphasis on high voltage switching power conditioners to assist electrical engineers in creating new designs and maintain existing designs from electrical schematics, net lists, mechanical input, and associated detail documents that adhere to the latest fabrication and assembly standards using Altium design software. This position will be part of Engineering Services in the Design Center located in Torrance, CA.
Responsibilities

• Layout of printed circuit boards as designed by senior electrical engineers.
• Create and maintain component library database.
• Create PCB design packages (Schematics, Parts Lists, Engineering Drawings, gerbers, etc).
• Provide support for PCB related issues as needed under direction of senior engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in PCB layout, design and documentation OR Associate's degree and 6 years of experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Thorough knowledge of Altium Designer required.
• Knowledge of 3D CAD programs (Creo, Solidworks, Inventor) and 2D programs (AutoCAD) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of GD&T required.
• Multilayer and Rigid-Flex PCB design experience required.
• Ability to interpret schematics, engineering drawings, and product specifications is required.
• Ability to meet tight schedules while paying attention to details with high accuracy is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skill is required.
