POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for time clock administration, bank deposits, payroll processing and various accounting activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Prepare and enter all biweekly payroll data for payroll including new hires, terms, benefits, and changes.
2. Process bi-weekly payroll including entering bonus, commission, and data for payroll.
3. Prepare time clock information for payroll including edits, vacations, and miscellaneous reports.
4. Input and maintain employee records in all required databases.
5. Maintain PTO accrual records.
6. Help ensure payroll practices meet government compliance.
7. Process cash flow statements for bi-weekly payroll deposits, taxes, HSA, 401k payments, etc.
8. Prepare all bank deposits, code miscellaneous deposits and key into the general ledger.
9. Respond to internal and external employee inquiries related to payroll and resolve basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff.
10. Responsible for the protection and confidentiality of all sensitive data including, but not limited to, medically related items, payroll, and HR issues.
11. Accurately maintain documentation and comply with administrative procedures in a timely basis to include time entry.
12. Attend required company and departmental meetings.
13. Act in accordance with Marco policies and procedures as set forth in the employee handbook.
14. Perform other related duties as assigned.
