```Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for accurately processing payroll for our employees, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with confidential information.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Calculate and process deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments
- Maintain accurate employee records in the payroll system
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment and changes
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data is maintained
- Stay up-to-date on relevant payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Assist with general ledger accounting tasks related to payroll
- Support year-end tax reporting processes
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and procedures
- Familiarity with corporate accounting principles and practices
- Experience with account reconciliation and general ledger accounting
- Knowledge of tax regulations related to payroll processing
- Proficiency in using payroll software such as Kronos, ADP, or Workday
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
