CE operates primarily in the business to business (B2B) environment where its products are sold through licensed HVAC dealers and HVAC contractors. Carrier has an immediate opening for a Payroll Administrator.
Position Summary:
The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of bi-weekly payrolls and related client service, including recordkeeping, reporting, garnishments and problem solving. Reports to the Payroll Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Process accurate payroll and maintain confidential payroll information as required.
Data entry and personnel transactions such as new hire, termination, leave of absence, benefits deductions, garnishments, child support, liens, etc.
- Multi-state and Federal Taxes, including quarter and year-end
- Gross to net calculation, audit and balancing.
- Evaluate, set-up and maintain garnishments, child support, liens, etc.
Research and resolve problems, perform scheduled activities and liaison with regional HR Teams in the field.
Prepare and maintain standard and ad hoc reports and queries using ADP and EXCEL and conduct appropriate audits to ensure data integrity.
Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets at an intermediate level.
Point of contact for time and attendance and payroll. Responsible for importing hours between the two systems.
Create and maintain file folders for employees, file records in alphabetical order, find and retrieve information from files in response to requests from authorized users.

Requirements:
5+ years Payroll experience, strong data entry and excel skills, high-volume, multi-state payroll tax experience required. Fast-paced environment. ADP experience essential - ADP Vantage experience ideal. CPP preferred.
