What you’ll be doing.

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources; the Payroll & HRIS Specialist will be primarily responsible for timely and accurate processing of payroll on a biweekly basis using ADP Workforce Now. In addition, this incumbent will assist with the design, configuration, administration, etc. of the HRIS system (ADP).

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process multistate biweekly payroll in compliance with current organizational policies, and applicable state and federal laws?

  • Perform various payroll and data integrity audits as needed?

  • Update payroll documentation, state taxation and system updates?

  • Assist in implementation projects tied to payroll as needed?

  • Handles GLs in collaboration with finance department??

  • Assist in maintenance of data in systems and performance of audits to keep information up-to-date and clean?

  • Develop reporting capabilities of all HR systems?

  • Assist in processing of employee data, recordkeeping and audits, various types of leaves, benefits, work status and other changes, i.e. compensation changes, transfers, etc.?

  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users including setting up new user accounts?managing access permissions, personalization and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users?

  • Collaborate with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions and review and testing of program updates and configurations?

  • Program custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros and reports?

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience processing multistate payroll for a medium size company
  • 3+ years of experience working within an in HRIS system
  • Must be customer focused and driven to provide outstanding customer experience to employee base
  • Must be detailed-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills are required
  • Organized and able to prioritize accordingly
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Microsoft Excel knowledge is a must
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required.

Preferred:

  • 3+ years working experience in HR (i.e. Generalist, Specialist capacity)

Where you’ll be doing it.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Pembroke Pines, FL office. As a hybrid role, you will be working onsite 2-3 days a week and working from home 2-3 days a week.

When you’ll be doing it.

While there is some flexibility in the hours, this position will be Monday-Friday during regular business hours (approximately 8:00am-5:00pm). Occasional overtime may be required according to business need.
