We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented person to join our team. The ability to multi-task and provide excellent customer service is required. The applicant must be professional in attitude and appearance with the willingness to be part of a team in a medical setting. Computer skills are a must and experience with ophthalmic/medical insurance is preferred.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Greeting patients.
- Insurance verification and explanation.
- Scheduling appointments.
- Patient recall.
- Data entry with correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Communicating to patients via email and telephone.
- Ability to rotate to Call Center, Check-in, Check out, and Insurance Verification.
The position is for approximately 40 hrs per week including some Saturday hours. Customer service is our priority, so a great personality is a must. Our hiring manager is unable to answer phone calls during the day, therefore, please forward your resume for consideration.
