Register patients upon arrival, secure insurance or managed care authorization, post charges, educate & communicate balance to patients, request and post payments from patients, issue receipts, submit daily deposit, process insurance claims. Answer incoming phone calls to the office. Assist patients in selecting eyewear, and placing orders for frames, lenses, and contacts. Require High School diploma or equivalent and prefer 1-2 years' of related medical office experience. Prefer Associates Degree in related field (business, medical office). Some "day" travel to satellite offices will be required. Must be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office applications. EOE.
