SalaryTOC is a well renowned orthopedic practice and has been in business for almost 50 years with subspecialties in trauma, foot and ankle, spine, hand, adult reconstruction, pediatrics, pain management, and sports medicine. The practice is located strategically throughout North Florida and South Georgia with 7 regional offices and two Tallahassee campuses. Ancillary endeavors include on site X-ray, MRI, Physical Therapy, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Urgent Care Centers, and Orthotics and Prosthetics. TOC fields team physicians for Florida State University (FSU), Florida A&M University (FAMU), and Tallahassee Community College (TCC), as well as numerous area high schools.
We are currently seeking a front office representative for a full-time position.
Duties include greeting patients; verifying all demographics and insurance information; entering data into an electronic medical record (EMR) system; collecting co-pays; scheduling follow-up appointments as needed. Applicant must have basic knowledge of insurance plans and medical terminology; the ability to multi-task and perform as an effective team member, or independently. In addition, applicant must be able to prioritize, have effective communication skills, and EXCEPTIONAL customer service skills. Prior medical office experience a plus.
Hours are 8am-5pm, Monday - Friday.
