Front Desk & Patient Intake Receptionist

Dade Family Counseling CMHC, Inc. was founded in 2003 and is a full-service Community Mental Health Center licensed by the State of Florida and accredited by The Joint Commission. We treat children, adolescents and adults with mental illness, substance abuse issues and/or co-occurring disorders. We accept most insurance plans and work with most private and public insurance providers.

Dade Family Counseling CMHC is currently accepting applications for an experienced, highly professional and detail oriented Full-Time Front Desk & Patient Intake Receptionist.

Job Description:

The basic function of this position includes;

• Manage the Front Desk, provide a professional and courteous welcome to all visitors and patients.
• Verify insurance and collect copays.
• Adhere to facility policies and values.
• Interact with all medical professionals and other physicians or mental health professionals.
• Provide administrative support to a department and/or Manager.
• Duties include general clerical, new Patient Intake/admission, and project-based work.
• Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction.

Pay Rate

• $17.00 per hour

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years of receptionist or administrative assistant experience in health care setting (preferred)
• Knowledge of insurance verification for Mental Health HMO
• Fully bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Must be willing to complete an AHCA Level II Background Screening
