Patient Coordinator/Receptionist

```Duties```
As a Patient Coordinator in a private Dental practice, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of patients through the medical office. Your duties will include:

- Greeting and checking in patients at the front desk
- Collecting and verifying patient information, including insurance details
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating with other departments
- Answering phone calls and responding to patient inquiries
- Maintaining patient records and updating information in the system
- Coordinating referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers
- Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Collaborating with medical staff to provide excellent patient service

- Office administration: Proficient in performing general administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing paperwork.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations: Familiarity with maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines.
- Front desk operations: Experience in managing front desk operations, including greeting patients, checking them in, and providing assistance.
- Patient service: Ability to provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their needs and concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Dental office procedures: Understanding of dental office procedures, including knowledge of dental terminology, and treatment options.
- Administrative skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
