Patient Care Coordinator

Compensation: Starting $14-17 based on experience

The role

This is a customer facing role with both in person and remote responsibilities. Starting hourly requirements will range between 16-25 hours per week. Currently, in person hours are Tuesday and Thursday 12:30-6:30 and Friday 9:30-3:30, but hours may expand and vary with notice. Remote work will include at least 5 guaranteed hours throughout the week. The main function of this role is to facilitate patient’s positive interaction with our integrative medicine clinic. Responsibilities will change and grow with time, as will compensation. Quarterly performance reviews will determine raises and bonuses.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Scheduling patients via phone, email, and in person

Checking patients in and out, receiving patient payment, and setting up treatment plans

Following up with patient requests and answering questions

Charting and biling

Assisting with Patient Care

Cleaning and resetting treatment rooms in between patients

Stocking treatment rooms and supplies

Light housekeeping

Inventory and ordering

Marketing, including outreach, referral relationships, and social media presence

Clinic laundry

The Ideal Candidate:

Enjoys helping others and has solid customer service skills

May have worked in healthcare, food service, or with children

Has patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with patients while having appropriate boundaries

Is able to problem solve and create an exceptional customer experience through kind, clear, and professional communication

Understands that making patients feel heard, respected, and cared for is the most important part of this job

Enjoys learning and growing their skill set

Is technically proficient and able to use software such as google sheets, scheduling and billing software, email, and social media

Is open minded, if not interested in, alternative medicine

Is able to manage multiple tasks throughout the day efficiently, self-start, and change directions quickly when needed

Is able to lift, bend, and walk quietly
