Job Responsibilities:

Front desk patient coordinator responsibilities overlap three core areas: front desk management, pre-testing and assisting in the optical.

Detailed responsibilities include:

• Providing the highest level of courteous customer service/Patient Care service

• Answering the phone / Scheduling appointments

• Ensuring proper intake and check-in procedures are followed

• Obtaining insurance authorizations / managing claims/ reviewing insurance benefits with patients

• Other responsibilities as needed

• Proficient computer skills with the quick ability to learn new programs and our electronic health records system

• Excellent, poised communication skills

• Detail-oriented with accuracy in data entry

• Team player who is respectful of patients with special needs

• Organized, positive, self-motivated

• Strong ability to multi-task

• Previous eye care or medical office experience is preferred but not required

• Full time position (32-40 hours)

• Monday- Thursday 8:30-6:15ish, Friday 8:15- 3:00

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
