Patient Care Coordinator

Summary

We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator who will be responsible for interacting with patients on the phone to schedule MRI’s and other exams. Additional responsibilities include: interacting with referring physician offices over the phone to coordinate Patient Care, managing patient insurance authorizations, and working closely with office manager, other Patient Care Coordinators, and billing staff.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Effective multi-tasking skills in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Excellent telephone and personal communication skills
• Proficiency with computer systems and programs
• High commitment to customer service
• Prior experience obtaining authorizations for a medical office is a plus
• Bilingual with Spanish is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
