Patient Care Coordinator

Part time - Full time

Responsibilities include:

· Warmly welcoming and greeting patients

· Monitoring patient flow

· Creating, updating, and ensuring the accuracy of patient files

· Checking that patient insurance has been verified for the day

· Answering telephones and documenting any corresponding accurately

· Scheduling appointments and accurately gathering insurance information

· Checking for any patient balances for the day, processing and posting patient payments

· Adhering closely to the procedures for Opening and Closing the office

· Verifying balances and reports at the end of the day

· Communicating with doctors, staff, and patients in a professional manner

· Assisting with miscellaneous office duties as needed

· Following all current COVID protocols

Preferred skills:

· Working well with other team members

· 1-2 years of Customer Service

· 1-2 years of Medical Office experience

· Basic medical insurance knowledge

· Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and computers
