Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival at the dental office
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using the office scheduling system
- Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries or concerns
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
- Provide administrative support to the dental office staff
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a dental or medical office setting is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
