Description
Our Fairfax store is looking for an experienced Full Time Pastry maker.
We are looking for someone who has had at least one year of Pastry Cook experience, preferably with some experience with alternative grains, whole grains, alternative sweeteners and thickeners. We are seeking someone who has a great attitude and work ethic and loves producing high quality product.
Responsibilities
- Fulfill daily bakery production according to daily prep lists
- Follow all recipes accurately. Maintain consistency in presentation, shape, and size of all finished product
- Ensure consistency and quality of final product according to our food standards
- Properly store and label all ingredients. Keep lids tight and items dated
- Keep work area clean, contained, and organized throughout your shift and upon leaving. Maintain sanitation and presentation standards for the department
- Includes occasional heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs, and walking and standing the entire shift. This is a physical job; candidates must be in good condition and know how to take care of yourself on the job.
Qualifications
