We're looking for a Pastry Cook to join our amazing team! This is a part-time position. This shift would be in the AM but would need to be open to PM shift if needed with 2-3 shifts per week.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of desserts and baked goods on a weekly basis
- Able to execute large quantities of desserts for occasional events
- Ensure that all products are made fresh and in accordance with quality and food safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels of pastry ingredients and supplies
- Collaborate with other members of the culinary team to develop new pastry items and seasonal menus
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to sanitation and hygiene standards
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques related to pastry and baking
- Must be able to wash used equipment and maintain it organized
- Ability to work well with others and follow directions and recipes
- Positive attitude is a must
Requirements:
- Knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients and equipment
- Creativity and attention to detail in designing and executing dessert creations
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
