**About Us:**
Acura of Los Angeles Westside is the newest Acura dealership in the vibrant city of Culver City, poised to set new standards in customer service and automotive excellence. As we prepare to open our doors, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Parts Manager to join our team and contribute to the success of our dealership.
**Job Overview:**
As a Parts Manager at Acura of Los Angeles Westside, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our parts department. You will be responsible for managing inventory, overseeing parts sales, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. The ideal candidate is an organized and customer-focused individual with a deep understanding of automotive parts and accessories.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Inventory Management:** Maintain accurate and organized parts inventory. Monitor stock levels, order parts as needed, and ensure the availability of essential components.
2. **Budgeting:** Create and oversee an annual operating budget for the parts department, ensuring financial targets are met.
3. **Profitability:** Utilize pricing parameters and strategies to generate sufficient profit while maintaining customer loyalty.
4. **Compliance:** Ensure full compliance with manufacturer parts and warranty policies, procedures, and rules.
5. **Team Development:** Develop an effective team through training and performance standards. Utilize strong leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve key goals.
6. **Obsolete Inventory Control:** Control obsolete and excess inventory while ensuring inventory meets customer demand.
7. **Refund Efficiency:** Confirm parts are coded efficiently for refunds on unused factory stock.
8. **Collaboration:** Work with the service department and wholesale account representatives to ensure inventory is available when needed.
9. **Performance Analysis:** Review sales figures, costs, and stock monthly to ensure budget benchmarks are met.
- Proven experience as a Parts Manager in an automotive dealership.
- 5+ years of Automotive Parts Manager experience is a MUST.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Team leader focused on providing exemplary customer service.
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
- Proven track record with exceptional results.
- Professional appearance and work ethic.
- Self-starter and self-motivator.
- Ability to develop relationships with teams, departments, vendors, and manufacturers.
- Bilingual is a PLUS.
**Job Type:** Full-time
**Pay:** $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
