JOB SUMMARY

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring that rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role, possess strong leadership skills, and have a keen eye for detail. As a part-time supervisor, you will work closely with the full-time team to uphold the hotel's cleanliness standards and provide exceptional guest experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department
• Supervising, training, and scheduling housekeeping staff
• Ensuring all rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to hotel standards
• Inspecting guest rooms to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hotel policies
• Ordering and managing inventory of cleaning supplies and linens
• Handling guest requests and complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations
• Conducting regular staff meetings and performance evaluations
• Implementing and enforcing safety and cleanliness protocols
• Maintaining records of room inspections, inventory, and staff performance
• Collaborating with the maintenance team to address any maintenance issues
• Developing and implementing housekeeping procedures and policies to improve efficiency and quality

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Train new employees on cleaning procedures and standards.
• Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure they meet cleanliness standards.
• Address guest complaints and requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
