We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team on a Part-Time/Permanent basis. In this role, you will be accountable for the day-to-day HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, compensation management and compliance. The successful candidate will have outstanding communication skills, solid attention to detail, be analytical, as well as the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with the utmost professionalism, discretion, and poise.
Essential Job Functions:
- Performs full- cycle recruiting.
- Executes all administrative tasks for onboarding, orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HRIS system and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain records of personnel-related data and ensure all employment requirements are met.
- Employee Relations. Including those of intermediate complexity.
- Assists with the company performance evaluation program; provides ongoing coaching and training to managers on evaluations and goal development.
- Interprets company policies and procedures to employees.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Conduct impartial investigations into employee situations including, but not limited to, harassment, discrimination and violation of Company policies.
- Administers Affirmative Action Program.
- Working in conjunction with Operations, supports safety training / incentive programs.
- Workers Compensation filing and reporting.
- Required Skills and Abilities:
- 5-10+ years’ experience as an HR Manager or advancing into higher role
- Knowledge of local, State and Federal employment laws and best practices
- Customer-focused attitude with a high level of professionalism and discretion
- Strong interpersonal skills
- 1-2 years of Payroll processing
- MS Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. (office supplies)
