Parts Inventory Specialist

Position: Parts Inventory Specialist:

RELAM Inc. is seeking a trained and experienced Parts Inventory Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 40 hours per week. The Specialist will be responsible for the stocking and maintenance of bulk parts and shop supplies and running parts to our Diesel Mechanics, that rebuild and overhaul MOW- Maintenance of Way Equipment for the railroad companies of North America.

We are seeking 1 candidate for Granite City, Illinois.

Position Overview and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Ability to lift at least 75 pounds, if in doubt use the hand trucks and booms available.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• 3-5 Years experience Inventory and Parts and warehouse management with forklift experience, professional leadership skills highly preferred.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with all MS Office applications.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Excellent Shop Housekeeping duties preformed daily.
• Forklift loading and unloading with attention to detail and care.
• Shipping and receiving to include stocking shelves, grabbing parts from allocated bins.
• Install Shipping tags.
• Box material for customer shipping
• Go through rebuild BOM kits.
• Run material from warehouse to machines out on floor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.47 - $24.00 per hour

• Forklift: 3 years (Preferred)
