Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Warehouse Specialist to join our team at our facility in Aurora, IL, 60502. As an Inventory Warehouse Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate inventory management and smooth manufacturing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with excellent communication skills, experience in a manufacturing environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
What You Will Do
- Manage and maintain inventory accuracy though regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
- Identify discrepancies, misidentifications, improper stored merchandise, merchandise not-in-location or overages, and any inventory concerns.
- Assist with the inbound material inspection.
- Fulfills request from CSM and Sales.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and address any issues that may arise.
- Order picks material to appropriately fulfill incoming orders.
- Validating scheduled inventories.
- Process all inventory reports and identify trends.
- Assign the zones to be counted and audited.
- Review IC reports for discrepancies, changes, and NIL.
- Inspect & verify all changes after management resolved discrepancies.
- Completes material movements and validates inventory counts.
- Process all inventory reports as well as random inbound and outbound audit reports.
- Investigate all Over/Short/Trash requests.
- Assist in the implementation and improvement of inventory management processes and procedures.
- Performs additional duties as required.
What You Will Bring
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members and management.
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and inventory tracking.
- Knowledge of inventory management procedures and general inventory movement practice.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Accurate and detail oriented.
- Familiar with ERP and general procedures, policies, goals, and objectives.
- Exercise caution and strict adherence to safety policies and procedures.
