The position we have open is at our independent auto repair shop located that is located within the City of Stanwood. German autos are definitely our niche, but we work on most makes and models including full size diesel trucks and classic cars. We are family owned/operated and will have been in business for 15 years this September. Like many small businesses, we all wear multiple hats in the business and do whatever it takes to get the job done. The position that we are currently hiring for is a mix between a Parts Advisor and Entry Level Service Advisor.
On the parts side, you are responsible for maintaining our small stock levels of inventoried parts/fluids as well as ordering parts for our day to day repair orders & assisting technicians with immediate needs for vehicles that are actively being worked on. We have also purchased some new old stock from other repair shops that have closed, so we will be working on inventorying those parts and once we have everything sorted, we will be selling the unwanted/needed parts on Ebay.
On the Service Advisor side, this position works closely with our shop foreman who works on any/all classic cars. You will be responsible for putting together estimates and keeping tabs on/updating customers on those vehicles. You will also assist with answering phones and helping the other advisors or technicians find parts when needed. When other advisors are out at lunch or on vacation, you may be asked to fill in from time to time up in the main office as an advisor.
We are a busy shop, fast paced and high output. We are very organized, lots of processes & procedures to keep things moving efficiently and maintain our quality standards. We have a great reputation in the community and are definitely the go to shop for many.
The ideal candidate will have good organizational skills, an in depth knowledge of automotive parts & automobiles, good customer service skills and an automotive enthusiast.
