What you'll do...
Partner Manager, Consumer Electronics
Advertising Sales - Walmart Connect
New York City Area
As a Partner Manager, you'll be a supportive and consultative sales partner to your clients. You will need the ability to reach and affect executive level customers, ecosystem partners (PMD's and Agencies) to close new business and provide holistic marketing solutions. Experience with Consumer Electronics a plus. You'll report to a Team Lead at Walmart Connect in this role. The Partner manager excels in generating sales by becoming an expert in the digital marketing competitive landscape. Working closely with an Account Manager and other colleagues in the Sales organization, to develop industry-specific marketing relationships and negotiate and optimize complex opportunities with brand clients. The location for this role is Hoboken, NJ.
We'll provide opportunity to...
  • Create consultative sales presentations using industry knowledge, market trends, and Walmart Connect marketing solutions
  • Develop and broaden collaborative relationships, understand and identify contacts that manage multiple budgets (brand, shopper, DR, video, etc.), and close large JBPs with the Fortune 500 marketers
  • Present needs-based solutions and high-quality objective-based opportunities in RFPs
  • Reach sales quotas while contributing to overall vertical and team priorities
  • Develop account plans based on client brand and performance marketing goals
  • Work with teammates and partners to complete operational and strategic plans - developing account plans, summarizing market related data, leading client analysis and defining the business approach to Walmart Connect's success with digitally focused businesses
  • Manage sales pipeline to prioritize business opportunities and resources
  • Be an industry expert in creative and digital advertising to lead creative and client success using Walmart Connect's ongoing product and technology developments
  • Apply operational thoughtfulness, methodologies and use technology to implement, assess, and explain complex brand and performance marketing solutions

Qualifications
  • 7+ years' Digital Media Sales at a Publisher, Retailer or Ad Tech company, experience with complex holding company sales covering 7 figure sales targets. Sponsored Products (Search), Brand Advertising, Performance Marketing, e-Commerce Sales, Programmatic, Digital Video Sales, Retailtainment, Experiential Marketing or Online Advertising
  • 7+ years' experience managing client direct accounts
  • 3+ years' experience as a strategic advisor working with C-Level clients
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Consumer Psychology, or related field and 5 years' experience Advertising Sales, advertising, sales, or related field OR 8 years' experience Advertising Sales, advertising, sales, or related field.
  • Experience with high-level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management
  • Experience reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals through consultative sell
  • Understand Walmart consumer behavior and how Walmart helps suppliers, marketers and consumers
  • Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) skills are necessary
  • Preference for experience in brand advertising (for example, TV or video, sponsorship), media sales, customer acquisition and growth, search, mobile and online sales, managing client accounts, Shopper marketing sales, eCommerce sales, retail Advertising Sales, search, Strategic Advisor working with C-Level Clients.
