Dance Matters NYC is looking for an experienced and motivated Administrator for our Saturday and Sunday schedule!
DMNYC is a dynamic and growing Dance Studio in Sunnyside Queens looking for a Part Time Administrator. This position is ideal for a passionate and creative individual who has over three years experience in office management and client services, and absolutely loves working with little ones.

Our mission is to enrich the lives of our community through the beauty and transformative power of the arts. In this position, you will be the face of the studio to all new and potential clients of our morning Twirling Tots and Tiny Tots classes.

- Self motivated, energetic, positive, a team player and extremely well organized.
- Ability to create a loving, nurturing and warm learning environment.
- Must be able to prioritize tasks and complete them in an efficient and timely manner.
- Necessary computer skills include Word/Pages, Excel/Numbers, Google Forms, Drive/Docs, PowerPoint/Keynote, DropBox, Canva, Wordpress, Constant Contact.
- Knowledge of Jack Rabbit and Slack is a plus.
- Have 3+yrs of managing high quality customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Able to work well under pressure in a fast paced energetic environment and with minimal supervision.
Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Managing and administering all office needs, including organization and maintenance of the office.
- Child and classroom observations and assessments
- Ability to communicate with existing and potential clients/parents, work collaboratively with colleagues and possess good interpersonal skills
- Managing all existing student accounts, as well as processing all new incoming registrations timely and efficiently.
- Drive customer loyalty through warm, inviting and efficient communications with all customers.
- Keep a constant line of communication with the Director to ensure the studio is running efficiently and successfully.
- Additional duties as requested by DMNYC.
Minimum Requirements:
- College degree or its equivalent.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills as well as English speaking and writing fluency.
- A personal computer.
