Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is currently seeking a part-time System Administrator 1 who will work onsite at our office located in Warner Robins, GA.
Essential Job Responsibilities
As a system administrator, your primary responsibility is to ensure the seamless operation of multi-user computer systems.
- Coordinate with network administrators and perform tasks such as setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining up-to-date system documentation, fine-tuning system performance, installing system-wide software, and allocating mass storage space.
- Respond to inquiries regarding system performance and access.
- Coordinate installations and provide backup recovery services.
- Assist with developing and monitoring policies and standards for resource allocation related to the use of computing resources.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field required.
- Strong verbal communication skills with ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and juggle multiple deadlines and tasks.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and hardware configuration.
- Ability to pass required background investigation.
Physical Requirements
- Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the Systems Analyst discipline.
