Systems Administrator

Our client is looking to fill a Sr. Systems Administrator role who will be able to...  

• Maintain, update, build, document, troubleshoot, and monitor the organization’s information systems and IP LAN, WAN, and WLAN networks
• Maintain and expand the virtual environment
• Interpret written, oral, and diagrammed instructions
• Work effectively with the technical staff of vendors and partner facilities
• Assist in the installation, documentation, inventory, maintenance, and troubleshooting of information technology assets.
• Suggest and oversee improvement processes.
• Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices
• Adhere to PCI compliance and confidentiality policies at all times.
• Configure, maintain, and test disaster recovery and backups quarterly

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications... 

• Computer network and systems administration experience
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server, PowerShell, Windows 10, VMWare, Hyper-V, and Storage Systems
• Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
• Proficiency in cloud technologies, AWS, Azure preferred.
• Hyper-V, Cisco Meraki, & Nutanix are preferred.
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Cisco Cert highly desirable
• Experience with and knowledge of operating systems and server solutions (Server 2012-2022, SQL, Terminal Services (RDS), IIS, AD)
• Ability to lead Systems and Network projects.
