Part Time Social Worker – Hospice – Days
At NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, talented Social Workers lead, learn and educate in a department like no other. We partner across the full spectrum of key areas, providing assessments, education and counseling. You can Deliver Care You Can Be Proud Of:
You’ll serve as Hospice Social Worker for patients and their families, providing support, therapeutic interventions, education, and patient advocacy tailored to the needs of the specific client population. You will be part of the hospice interdisciplinary team providing excellent end of life care to our clients and families. Here, you will experience all the reasons why you entered such a rewarding field.
This is a part- time position covering varied days, from 8:30am -4:30pm located at Jansen Hospice and Palliative care, a community-based Certified Hospice Agency. You will be required to go into patient homes and other facilities based on the patient’s service location.
Preferred Criteria
- State and local community services
- Hospice experience preferred
Required Criteria
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Licensed Masters Social Work (LMSW) by the state of NY within 1 year of hire
- Knowledge of Psychosocial Assessment
- Communication Skills

Salary Range:
