A Law Firm in Buffalo, NY is seeking an Attorney to join the firm's Workers' Compensation & Social Security Disability Department.
Candidates must possess initiative; excellent writing, drafting, organizational, communication and client services skills.
Responsibilities:

• Manage complex legal matters in helping injured workers navigate the legal landscape.
• Draft pleadings, findings of fact, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct opening and closing statements, cross examination of vocational and medical witnesses and have a thorough familiarity with the record of each case.
• Prepare clients for hearing and appear before Administrative Law Judges to advocate on behalf of disabled clients at hearings.
• Analyzing cases and address issues.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed in New York State to practice law.
• At least ten (2) years of experience performing Workers' Compensation & Social Security Disability matters.
