Part-Time Social Media Assistant

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Assistant to join our team to help us with the various events at the farm throughout the year and promotion of our store.

As a Social Media Assistant you will be responsible for managing and executing Social Media strategies to enhance our brand presence and engage with our target audience. If you have a passion for Social Media, digital marketing, and content creation, we would love to hear from you.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and implement Social Media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive engagement and attendance at our events
- Create and curate engaging content for various Social Media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, this will include taking good photos and video
- Create professional looking reels for the various platforms
- Collaborate with the management to develop and execute Social Media campaigns that align with overall marketing objectives
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for Social Media growth, particularly on Instagram and TikTok
- Analyze Social Media metrics and generate reports on performance, making recommendations for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Social Media marketing
- Regular progress meetings with management and some on site work at the farm will also be required

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Social Media platforms and their respective audiences
- Proficient in content creation and Social Media advertising
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think creatively and generate innovative ideas for Social Media content
- Strong analytical skills to track performance metrics and make data-driven decisions

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
