Part-Time Receptionist

We are hiring!

The team at Wagging Tails has an immediate opening for a PT Tail Wagger (reception).

This position is responsible for working shifts at the front desk. Duties include:

• Greeting customers in a professional, courteous manner
• Answering phones, booking appointments, processing payments
• Courteous customer interactions. This includes meeting/greeting customers when appropriate, pet handling and transitioning back to owners
• Observing all dogs for signs of sickness or injury and reporting to manager on duty
• Other projects & duties as assigned
• Must be available to work Saturdays
• Schedules vary we are open 8 am -630pm
• approx 20-25 hours a week

Successful candidates for this role possess:

• Upbeat attitude and ability to interact with all types of people
• Love of animals
• Comfort and familiarity with all (large & small) dog breeds
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Courteous & professional demeanor (tattoos & piercings OK)
• Team player!
• Prior dog handling experience is NOT REQUIRED, we will train the right person
• Ability to be on your feet for 4+ hours, able to lift 25lbs
