Job Description
The part-time receptionist serves as the first point of contact for guests entering the University Club of St. Paul and the Davidson Hotel. In addition to being a pleasant and helpful representative of the University Club, the part-time receptionist's responsibilities are as follows:
- Greeting all guests upon entry and exit to/from the University Club.
- Answering all member questions and concerns.
- Responding all emails sent to receptionist email account in a timely manner.
- Completing and sending member Letters of Introduction to members and reciprocal clubs in a timely manner.
- Scheduling, updating, and following up on (when necessary) University Club restaurant reservations.
- Communicating about and coordinating large reservations or special seating requests with the FOH manager.
- Sorting and delivering mail and packages.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the front desk space.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of all first-floor member spaces (Fireside Room, Terrace, and Summit)
- Ensuring that coffee, tea, and water are continuously full in the Fireside Room.
- Ensuring that lobby music is playing at all times, and is turned off in specific rooms for events as needed.
- Opening the club in the morning and closing and locking up the University Club building at night (depending on the shift).
- Assist with additional tasks given by the Events and Membership departments as needed.
- Ensuring that cafe food is stocked in the Fireside Room
- Check out member to-go orders and cafe orders
- Additional tasks as assigned

The available hours for this position are as follows:
Monday: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Wednesday: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Friday: 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Saturday: 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM
(22 hours weekly)
OR
Monday: 8:00 AM - 4 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 4 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 4 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4 PM
(32 hours weekly)
OR
A combination of any of the above mentioned shifts.
