Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, experienced and professional Receptionists to join our medical office team. 3 years previous experience in medical office setting is required.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations within the office.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary paperwork
- Maintain patient records and update medical charts using electronic medical record systems
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents, processing insurance co-pay collection,
- Coordinate patient referrals to specialists and schedule follow-up appointments
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient flow of patients and accurate scheduling
```Qualifications:```
- 3 years Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role required
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (EMR)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, and computer skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively,
Willingness to travel and work in multiple locations is required.
