AustinMD is a health and wellness clinic providing Functional Medicine consultations, IV Vitamin Therapy and Medical Aesthetics. We are looking for an exceptional medical receptionist to join our amazing team from 9-2 pm Tuesday through Friday with some Saturdays. The ideal candidate would have a medical background, possess a fusion of warmth, charm and poise that will reflect the prestige of the clinic. Professionalism and organization is key to success at this position. Experience with dermatology/aesthetic procedures is a plus.
Daily Responsibilities May Include:
*Welcoming visitors and patients, by warmly greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
*Answering and directing phone calls.
*Taking detailed messages from patients and leave for physician review.
*Organizing and scheduling daily patient appointments.
*Writing and distributing emails to and from patients, writing letters, sending various faxes and forms.
*Assisting in the preparation of regularly scheduled patients, including preparing a daily schedule for providers.
*Ordering office supplies and research new deals and suppliers/ vendors.
*Acting as the point of contact via email or phone for current patients.
*Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
*Maintaining patient confidence and protecting operations by keeping patient care information confidential.
*Enhancing health care practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Requirements:
Exceptional organization skills with great attention to details.
Experience as a medical administrative assistant, virtual assistant or office administrative assistant
Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers, phones, and fax machines
Proficiency in MAC/Apple Products
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
