- Must be proficient in Excel to track monthly ongoing projects and account balancing and be familiar with Word.
- General accounting skills and a basic aptitude for math is essential for account balancing and fundraising
- Necessary skills include the ability to multi-task, to demonstrate excellent communication skills, time
- Flexibility with work hours is required as some events/functions occur before or after hours, including weekends.
- Must be physically able to assist with event set-ups and breakdowns (e.g. setting up chairs, pushing/pulling
- Must be open to all assignments, including serving food at events.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record to run Bank errands and attend
Primary Objective - To apply creativity to daily assignments and projects and to provide clerical and other support to the Marketing department.
Responsibilities - Maintain intranet with daily announcements, policy/forms/department information updates and other; maintain records of policy changes to ensure current is posted; design graphics/update messages for in-branch TVs; track/manage/report service anniversaries and teller rewards to payroll; maintain employee birthday, service anniversary, 90-day end and out-processing records; update/provide in-house generated business cards as needed; order/track flowers/gifts for customers and employees; reconcile internal checking accounts, florist statements and two department credit card statements monthly; take orders, collect money and distribute T-shirts for Bank events (Relay, United Way); design monthly email signature used system-wide. Other responsibilities include direct mail projects and annual events, assist with Travel Club and internal functions (retirement receptions); prepare gift baskets, donations and giveaways upon request; forward website Help submissions to appropriate department(s);
Expectations are to perform all job duties and other responsibilities as assigned and to follow all safety rules and regulations.
Attendance according to the work schedule is necessary and essential as is receiving detailed information verbally, in person and by telephone. Extensive reading and computer use is expected much of the time. Job involves prolonged sitting, standing and walking and other physical requirements such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and flexibility with work schedule for occasional before and after events/functions, including weekends.
