Compensation: $17.16 - $21.10
Purpose of Role: The Order Clerk receives, unloads, stores and issues equipment, material, supplies and tools. The clerk will replenish stock by generating requisitions for the purchasing department either through the computer or manually. The clerk compiles various reports and does adjustments of inventory counts and stock records as required or necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
- Keeping an inventory of supplies for maintenance and general employee population.
- Replenishing stock by generating requisitions for the purchasing department.
- Performing random inventory daily as well as a system-generated monthly inventory on parts & supplies.
- Works directly with suppliers, negotiates deliveries and expedites shipments as necessary.
- Maintaining certification records for stock items
- Unloading/loading materials at common receiving area, using a forklift when needed
- Maintaining receiving records for supplies
- Notifying customer when an order is received
- Daily review and follow up of open/late/short, shipped orders.
Job Knowledge / Experience:
- Good Mathematical and Communication skills
- Experience with a computer based Inventory System along with Excel is a plus
- Prior Forklift experience, or operating industrial equipment
- Inventory experience desired.
Education:
- Education: High school diploma/GED
- Forklift Certification once hired
