Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students, providing information and guidance throughout the admissions process
- Conduct individual and group admissions presentations to educate potential students on program offerings, admission requirements, and financial aid options
- Assist students with the application process, including reviewing applications and supporting documentation
- Collaborate with academic departments to ensure accurate and timely evaluation of transfer credits
- Provide academic advising to prospective students, helping them select appropriate courses and develop educational plans
- Utilize Ellucian or similar student information systems to maintain accurate records of student interactions and application status
- Participate in recruitment events, such as college fairs and open houses, to attract a diverse pool of applicants
Experience:
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is highly preferred
- Strong public speaking skills to effectively present information to individuals and groups
- Knowledge of recruitment strategies and techniques to attract prospective students
- Familiarity with academic advising principles and best practices in education administration
