Vantage Point MBA Admissions Consulting provides 1:1 personalized application coaching for young professionals who aspire to attend the top MBA programs in the world. We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our team. This role will be dedicated to executing all of the company’s digital marketing initiatives, including content, email, social, and others. If you have prior experience in digital and social media marketing and are passionate about higher education, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Create monthly content calendar
- Manage the writing, posting, and syndicating of all written content pieces (typically 750-1,000 word articles)
- Prepare and send weekly email newsletter
- Develop, lead, and execute social media strategy (LinkedIn and Instagram for now. We’d like to expand to YouTube and maybe TikTok.) This includes identifying / following trends, creating the posts, soliciting team members to create content pieces, and posting the content at appropriate times.
- Manage marketing partnerships with digital platforms
- Manage communication for our referral program
- Promote various ad-hoc events and services throughout the application cycle
- Create dashboard(s), tracking, and KPIs for the all of the above marketing efforts to measure effectiveness and impact
Qualifications:
- Must have prior community management or digital / social media marketing experience (2+ years)
- Must have graduated with a 4-year bachelor’s degree in the last 10 years
- Must be passionate about higher education and the role we play as admissions consultants in supporting young professionals’ educational dreams
- Must be obsessed with pop culture, current events, and the latest trends
- Must be organized, reliable, and highly responsive (via email, text, etc.)
- Must be creative with a strong attention to detail
- Must speak English fluently
- Must have appreciation and respect for a white glove, premium service like ours. We are luxury as a service and that must be conveyed in our marketing.
