Position: College Admissions Counselor
Location: Austin (Northwest 78750, Westlake 78746)
Positions are available for the following area:
- College Admissions Counseling
- College Admissions Application Coaching
- College Admissions Essay Editing
Responsibilities:
- Provide College Admissions counseling to HS seniors and their parents.
- Guide students through their college applications and essays using our curricula.
- Manage progress for a caseload of up to 10 students and articulate progress to parents and Director.
- Collaborate with other members of the College Admissions team to help students gain admission to their top choice colleges.
- Attend periodic meetings for professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Graduate degree from a top tier national university required.
- Prior admissions counseling or admissions experience preferred.
- Strong writing skills, time management skills, and interpersonal skills required.
- Passion for working with teenagers and their families.
- Graduate students welcome!
- Spring Session: January 12th - May 18th
- Must be available for at least the entire summer program (June - August) and follow through services until end of application season (Dec).
