What You'll Do
Our People team is dedicated to fostering a dynamic workplace environment that values creativity, innovation, and inclusivity. A critical piece of that work is communication-what stories do we tell and how do we share them? That's why we're looking for a creative and skilled freelance, project-based copywriter to enhance our branding and Employee Communications. You'll be instrumental in developing internal communication materials like our monthly newsletter, and crafting external content for our social media. Reports to: Sr. Manager, HR Business Management
- Create captivating and on-brand copy for diverse marketing collateral: website content, brand guidelines, social media posts, and promotional materials.
- Develop and refine internal communications materials such as employee handbooks, memos, and announcements, ensuring clarity and alignment with company values.
- Collaborate with the People team to produce engaging content for the monthly newsletter, offering insights and analysis on current work trends and industry developments.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand brand guidelines, voice, and audience preferences to maintain consistency across all communication channels.
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
Location: Fully Remote, with the opportunity to work from anywhere in the United States
What You Bring
- Proven experience with 3 years as a copywriter, preferably specializing in branding, internal communications, or related fields. Familiarity with human resources content such as recruiting, benefits, and compensation is ideal.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
- Strong understanding of branding principles and the ability to convey brand identity through written content.
- Familiarity with work trends, industry insights, and the ability to translate complex concepts into engaging easy-to-understand content.
