FocusKPI is looking for a Content Specialist / Performance Marketing copywriter to join our client, a high-tech SaaS company.
The client is looking for a Performance Marketing copywriter who excels in helping cross-functional teams find creative and compelling ways to connect with their audiences. Our ideal candidate is a passionate storyteller who is excited about bringing client’s brand to life primarily through digital ad campaigns. Your work will drive education, clicks, sign-ups, and adoption of our products. You’ll work closely with our award-winning Creative Studio team and partner with their Performance Marketing teammates to craft concise copy and memorable experiences.
This is a contract role that can be held from one of their US hubs or remotely in the United States.
Work Location: Remote - anywhere in the US; The West coast is preferred (Not Hawaii)
Duration: 12 months contract
Pay Range: $50/hr to $58/hr
Responsibilities:
- Write clear, compelling, and engaging copy for various marketing materials, including but not limited to websites, video scripts, social media posts, banner ads, radio scripts, and email
- Partner closely with the performance marketing, design, and product marketing teams and stakeholders - looking for a conceptual mind to bring new ideas to life
- Design a process that supports the process of how information flows from the content creator all the way to the screen Implement the process that consists of planning, production, approval, submission and publication of content in a CRM system
- Develop easy to understand guidelines for stakeholders on how they can submit content
- Collaborate with the in-house Creative Studio to develop creative concepts, messaging strategy, and align copy with visual storytelling
- Write within a defined tone and voice, with the ability to pull the appropriate levers for our audiences
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, grammar, and consistency
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in events copywriting
- Be the expert and main driver for creative copy across multiple workstreams within the Performance Marketing team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training required
- 5-7 years related experience required; 3+ years of copywriting experience with an emphasis on product marketing
- Proven experience as a copywriter or in a similar role. Agency experience is a plus
- Knowledge of training methodologies, instructional design, and learning management systems
- Familiarity in the technology industry, particularly the SaaS collaboration software space
- Knowledge in Jira and Confluence, and other tools is a strong plus
- Knowledge of SEO principles and keyword research
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once, prioritizing to meet deadlines
- Flexible and adaptive to shifts in project needs and priorities
- Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills; Problem-solving skills
- Must be highly driven and autonomous while being able to manage expectations and relationships across multiple stakeholders
- A great resume and portfolio of produced work with demonstrated experience in email, print, digital, social, and video
