KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Copywriter with E-Commerce experience to work onsite at our client location in Irvine, CA
As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for crafting compelling product descriptions, feature bullets, product titles, and product callouts throughout enriched content that will be displayed on various e-commerce platforms. Leveraging our significant brand portfolio, you will create meaningful messaging that echoes the DNA of those brands.
Responsibilities:
- Write clear, concise, informative, and engaging product descriptions to entice e-commerce shoppers to purchase our products.
- Work collaboratively with the sales, marketing, and design teams to develop product messaging that is consistent with the brand voice.
- Create feature bullets that highlight the product's key benefits and unique selling propositions.
- Craft product callouts that standout on product pages and drive purchase intent
- Conduct research to gain a deeper understanding of the target audience and their needs and preferences.
- Ensure all content is optimized for search engines and is user-friendly.
- Edit, proofread, and revise content to ensure it meets the highest quality standards.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and incorporate them into the product description when necessary
- Meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Adapt to scheduling changes and willingness to shift gears when necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in copywriting, preferably for e-commerce platforms
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Experience working with SEO best practices
- Familiarity with e-commerce retailers such as Amazon, Costco, Sam's Club, and Walmart
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
