PART TIME FRONT DESK MANAGER - Down Under School of Yoga
Actively seeking part-time hourly Desk Managers for our locations, anywhere from 4-12 hours a week. Morning (7am-9am) and evening shifts (6pm-8pm). Work before or after your 9-5 and receive FREE Yoga on top of your hourly pay!
Submit a resume, and a short cover letter describing what yoga means to you, your experience thus far with Down Under (if any), and what excites you most about being on desk at our studios. Applications without cover letters will not be considered.
Must have availability to work mornings and/or evenings. Those with availability to work weekend shifts as well will be prioritized for hiring. Commitment to consistent weekly schedule is crucial.
Ideal candidate:
- Self-motivated and proactive individual with a love of working with people and supporting their movement and healing journeys.
- Strong background in exceptional customer service and the ability to multitask during busy class check-in times
- Comfortable being “the face” of the Down Under when on desk, maintaining a warm and professional environment while caring for students, teachers and facilities
- Experience with Mind Body Online (MBO), Google Docs, Sheets, Forms and familiarity with Apple products -is required
- Excellent writing skills for personalized communications to students
- Excellent phone skills
- Strong attention to detail/organization to ensure meticulous cleanliness and props, and seamless tech/AV function for livestream classes
- Open to constructive criticism and real-time feedback
- A personal relationship/practice/love of yoga and its lineage, and appreciation for Down Under national reputation as a disruptor in the yoga/fitness industry in offering unparalleled benefits to staff and students.
