SalaryDion Physical Therapy is hiring a motivated Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing team and manage front desk operations! This position ensures smooth operation of our Physical Therapy Outpatient Clinic to allow for exceptional Patient Care.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients/clients in a helpful and warm manner
- Answering and returning phone calls and texts from patients
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Collecting co-payments/patient balances
- Verifying insurance benefits and eligibility
- Scanning and inputting important documentation into EMR and updating patient charts
- Regular communication and team work with clinicians
- Assisting clinicians and staff with cleaning duties when needed
Qualifications
- Technologically savvy and able to learn new programs quickly
- Have excellent attention to detail and high-level accuracy with documents
- Flexible in daily routine; ability to prioritize and manage shifting responsibilities
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; can empathize and build relationships with a variety of personalities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Dependable and self motivated
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
