Responsibilities:

Culinary Expertise and Home Management:

• Cook dinner five nights a week, including fruit and vegetable prep for other meals.
• Execute a set of preselected recipes with precision and attention to detail.
• Ensure kitchen clean-up throughout the day and after evening meals.
• Wipe stove top and counters after use.
• Unloading, loading, and running the dishwasher.
• Review weekly menu and procure groceries. Consistently monitor stock levels of essential items and promptly replenish supplies as required, utilizing online delivery systems to place orders efficiently.

Pet Care and Housekeeping:

• Attend to the needs of our dog, including daily teeth brushing, feeding, ear cleaning, and ensuring fresh water.
• Administer medications and clean ears as needed.
• Coordinate occasional vet visits (1-3 visits/year).
• Pick up and drop off at grooming appointments
• Remind children to perform their daily and weekly chores and monitor completion.
• Manage laundry, including washing, folding, and organizing, dry cleaning and shoe care
• Vacuum kitchen floor and elsewhere as needed.
• Take out trash and recycling when full.
• Run errands as needed.
• Water houseplants.

Monthly, Bimonthly, and Semi-Annual Tasks:

• Wipe down all interiors of all cabinets as needed, including trash pullout.
• Review all furnishings and rugs for stains - spot treat as needed.
• Wash duvet covers and hang to dry.
• Detail car: vacuum, clean out, and put away items.
• Drop off donations to Goodwill or nearest charity.
• Clean range hood inserts per instructions in the manual. Clean out the fridge monthly - take everything out, wipe down all shelves and any dirty bottles, clean out all bins.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in home caretaking or a similar role. Knowledge in treatment and preservation of high end finishes like marble and brass.
• Culinary expertise with the ability to execute a variety of preselected recipes.
• Strong organizational skills, particularly in managing household tasks such as laundry, light housekeeping, and pet care.
• Attentive to delicate surfaces and high-end finishes to prevent damage.
• Trustworthy and reliable, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• An acceptable background check & credit check is required. You must be drug free.
