Part-Time Bookkeeper

Job Summary:

This will be a 1099 part time and remote position, but candidate must be in Charlotte, NC. Must be proficient in QBO online and have proven experience!!!

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing various accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate accounting and possess excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Duties:
- Perform double entry bookkeeping to record financial transactions accurately
- Process accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger accounts
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely payment of employees
- Generate financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements
- Conduct regular account reconciliation to ensure accuracy
- Prepare journal entries and maintain proper documentation
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Familiarity with double entry bookkeeping
- Experience with accounts receivable and account reconciliation
- Knowledge of payroll processing procedures
- Ability to prepare accurate financial reports
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must pass a background check!
