Bookkeeper

Small business with remote work opportunity in Raleigh, NC. Please note: some duties require presence in Raleigh, NC.

If you can hit the ground running, we will send you and your family on a beach vacation! This is a work from home opportunity with an exciting benefits package! Note: additional duties will include picking up packages at our Raleigh office, processing mail, and occasional travel to the post office and our second location. Seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join us in the Raleigh area. We will equip your home office so you can manage our general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, and prepare materials for meetings and presentations specific to financials. You will work independently and periodically collaborate with our CPA to ensure our books are accurate and follow best accounting practices.

Additional duties will include picking up packages at our Raleigh office, processing mail, and occasional travel to the post office and our second location. All transportation will be reimbursed. • 
  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Math.
• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Knowledge of Expensify
• Proficient in PowerPoint
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

Full-time. Monday-Friday.

Pay: $45,000 with potential to earn $5,000 Bonus.
