Part Time Admin Assistant 15-20 Hours/Week

This is an ideal position for students aspiring to go into healthcare industry or tech savvy moms looking for Part Time work.

We are an outpatient pediatric therapy clinic providing speech, occupational, physical, and developmental therapy to pediatric population.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist front desk with maintaining the patient waiting area.
• Data entry into Electronic Medical record system, creating patient charts, calling insurance companies to verify patient benefits, processing incoming faxes, updating prescriptions into our medical record system.
• Assist in checking in and checking out patients and posting patient payments

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Associates Degree in healthcare related field or Medical Billing and Coding or other relevant field.
• 2+ years of data entry experience experience working with EHR Software
• some Familiarity with Medical Insurance Terminology
